2015 Scion tC vs 2015 Mazda3

2015 Scion tC vs 2015 Mazda3

The Scion tC wasn’t built to be quite as flashy as the Scion FRS, but the thing is… it looks just as good! Sure, it might not have quite as many sporty-looking features on the inside or out, but it’s sleek design and style make it a surefire contender in the regular compact car segment; by regular we mean not like the Scion xB. It doesn’t have quite as much power as the Scion FRS either, but because it isn’t a sports car it doesn’t exactly need to. We wanted to take a look at it in comparison to another stylish compact car to see just which of the two might come out on top, so we compared the 2015 Scion tC vs 2015 Mazda3 to find out.

Advantages of the Scion tC

As we already stated, the 2015 Scion tC doesn’t have quite as much power as the FRS, but it does have more than its in-segment competitor the 2015 Mazda3. In fact, it has 24 more horse under the hood which might not sound like a lot, but will offer quite a bit more pick up to enhance your driving experience. In addition to having more power, the Scion tC also has a slightly larger fuel tank. This means that you won’t have to stop to refuel nearly as much as you would behind the wheel of the Mazda3.

Lastly, the Scion tC has a bigger trunk than the Mazda3. As compact cars, there isn’t a lot of room for people and stuff. This isn’t a crossover or a hatchback, it’s just a regular old car with a trunk. So if you have to take three people along with you, you’re going to want to have plenty of space in said trunk to bring their belongings along with them. The extra 2.3 cubic feet of space in the Scion tC’s trunk accommodates at least one more entire suitcase, so you should have plenty of space for everything in the 2015 Scion tC.
