2015 Scion xB vs 2014 Nissan cube

2015 Scion xB vs 2014 Nissan cube

The Scion xB doesn’t look like a lot of other vehicles. It’s a compact car, so it’s tiny, but in order to make up that small size in the cabin they designed it to be a little boxy, creating more space in the interior. There aren’t a lot of other vehicles on the market that look like the xB, but there are a couple. And one of them, in our opinion, looks much stranger than our favorite box on wheels. So we took a closer look at the 2015 Scion xB vs 2015 Nissan cube to weigh the pros and cons of each.

Advantages of the Scion xB

Looking past the simple aesthetics, the 2015 Scion xB has quite a few advantages over its segment rival, the Nissan cube. Let’s start with power; while performance might not be the most important thing in a compact car, more power is always an advantage. It provides a more enjoyable driving experience and gives you that extra kick to get where you’re going. The Scion xB just happens to have 36 more horses powering it, plus an extra 35 foot-pounds of torque to give it that extra kick.

The other big advantageous area for the Scion xB is in terms of space. Both vehicles are compact cars, so they’re small on the outside, but that doesn’t mean they have to be tiny on the inside too. While the xB only has an advantage of 0.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity, the big leg up comes in the way of passenger volume. Packing multiple people into a compact car is always difficult, but when you’ got an extra 13 cubic feet to move around in, everyone will be much happier, and that is exactly what you get with the Scion xB.
