We’re extremely happy to be able to say that the 2016 Cadillac ELR in Edmonton AB will be available right here at Drive Wheaton when it releases later this year. The luxury hybrid vehicle was just introduced a couple of years ago, but with its sibling vehicle the 2016 Chevy Volt entering a new generation it got a bit of a refresh with technology enhancements and other upgrades.
With upgrades to the steering and suspension, propulsion and drive technology, personal technology and the addition of a new performance package, the 2016 Cadillac ELR is the most exciting version of the ELR since its initial creation. These different enhancements and upgrades have led to a boost of more than 25% to power and torque, a higher top speed, and an improvement in acceleration by way of a 1.4-second increase in 0-96 km/h time.

As we stated, the newest edition of the Cadillac ELR has received tons of technological upgrades and enhancements from the previous model. Optional 2016 Cadillac ELR Performance Package
If you’re a performance enthusiast, you’ll like the new available performance package for the 2016 Cadillac ELR that we mentioned earlier. This performance package comes with all-new sport wheels featuring 20” summer-only performance tires that have improved the lateral grip by close to 10%. 4-piston Brembo brake callipers will be added to the front, increasing the 96-0 km/h stopping distance by close to 12%. The electric power steering systems and Continuous Damping Control both receive performance-specific calibrations with the package. And lastly, a sporty steering wheel is added to the interior, with a thicker rim that makes you feel like you’re driving a performance vehicle.
