2016 Toyota Avalon Edmonton AB
Though the 2016 model year vehicles we will carry here at Drive Wheaton dealerships haven’t quite made it to the streets yet, the 2016 model year is upon us. Every day brings us closer to the release of vehicles like the brand-new 2016 Honda HRV and all-new 2016 Toyota Tacoma. But that isn’t all there is to get excited about, as since the announcement of the next-gen Tacoma they have shown us quite a few more new and refreshed vehicles, like the 2016 Toyota Avalon in Edmonton AB.
The Avalon was originally introduced back in 1994 as a full-size flagship sedan, entering its second generation in ‘99 and third in ‘04. But it was just a couple of years ago when the Toyota Avalon entered its fourth and current generation, officially becoming the first vehicle that Toyota President Akio Toyoda thought met his challenge of making vehicles that had the potential to spark customers’ emotions. The manufacturer prides itself on making vehicles filled with what they call QDR: quality, durability and reliability. Mix those things with new stylings and design cues as well as improved performance, and you’ve got the perfect flagship.
2016 Enhancements and Upgrades to the Toyota Avalon
Engineers and designers brought even more refinement to the Toyota Avalon with a handful of enhancements and upgrades for the 2016 model year. They started with the front fascia, splitting the grille into an upper and lower design with a wide bottom grille and more narrow one on top. From there they added LED headlamps and completely redesigned the turn signals, both up front and in back. On the rear fascia, in addition to new signals, they added a chrome accent to the bumper.
Aside from the fascias, designers also revamped the alloy wheels used on all models of the Toyota Avalon. With this redesign came a new Tire Pressure Monitoring System specific to the tires on the wheels. Lastly, on the inside, they added premium wood grain ornamentation to the entire dashboard, pulling the whole vehicle together. We can’t wait until this new version of the Toyota Avalon arrives for the 2016 model year sometime in the next few months. If you’d like to be one of the first people to get behind the wheel, be sure to get in contact with the Toyota on the Trail sales team to begin the process for making that happen.
