2017 Buick LaCrosse Edmonton AB
Buick had a relatively mellow 2016 model year. They didn’t introduce any new vehicles here in Canada, nor did they renovate any models. The extent of their changes for 2016 was the addition of Sport Touring trim levels to every model but the Buick Enclave. But already, in the early moments of 2017 model year preparation, they seem to be having a pretty stellar year. Just before announcing the addition of the all-new Buick Envision, they revealed the completely redesigned 2017 Buick LaCrosse in Edmonton AB at the 2015 LA Auto Show.
Specs & Features of the 2017 Buick LaCrosse
It is fitting that the flagship sedan of the lineup not only be the first in a new wave of remodels, but the first vehicle to utilize the “new face of Buick.” At its center is a redesigned insignia, returning to the colored roots of the emblem instead of the recent all-silver look. But that’s not the only part of the new face, as the grille also adopts the wing-shaped elements that were first introduced on the Avenir concept vehicle. Those new elements rest atop the signature waterfall grille bars, and all three pieces combined make up the new face of Buick. General Motors has said that all vehicles on the lineup should adopt the new look by 2018.
The newest iteration of the full-size luxury sedan will also offer a host of new and enhanced features, from new suspension systems on both the front and rear, a new dual-clutch all-wheel drive system, perforated leather-appointed front seats that feature lumbar massage and an all-new display audio system in the form of a frameless 8” touchscreen, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.
These are of course just a few of the new design cues and features that will be available in the all-new 2017 Buick LaCrosse when it is released later next year, and you can find out much more about the model on our blog. We’ll also continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available, but until then feel free to give us a call with any questions or schedule an early test drive so that you can be among the first to hop into the driver’s seat when it arrives.
