2017 GMC Canyon Denali Edmonton AB
After the dust settled from the initial release of the GMC Canyon in 2015, there were two questions on everyone’s mind. The first was whether or not the popular new midsize truck would get a diesel engine option, and the second was whether or not the newest addition to the GMC lineup would get its own Denali trim level. We can now official say yes to both questions, after the unveiling of the 2017 GMC Canyon Denali in Edmonton AB.
Denali is the nameplate given to the top-of-the-line trim levels on all GMC vehicles, designating that it’s filled with premium content and luxury features. The Canyon Denali is the only truck of its kind, being the first and so-far only premium midsize truck on the market. Like with all Denali trim levels, the Canyon Denali will be upgraded by making many of the available features standard and adding in exclusive design cues, like a unique chrome grille.
Denali Upgrades on the 2017 GMC Canyon Denali
The 2017 Canyon Denali will only be available on crew cab models, with either 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive systems. Drivers will be able to choose between 6 different exterior colors, but the interior will be Jet Black with Mulan leather-appointed seats. Premium bonus features will be added both to the exterior and interior, like chrome fog lamp bezels, rectangular chrome assist steps, a heated steering wheel and remote vehicle starter system.
We don’t yet know exactly when the new 2017 GMC Canyon Denali truck will be available, but you’ll be able to find plenty of information on the Drive Wheaton blog or by calling the Don Wheaton General Motors sales team until then. You can also schedule a test drive right here on our website to make sure you’re one of the first to get behind the wheel of the new truck.
