2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Release Date
The original Cadillac ATS was a four-door compact luxury sedan, released in the 2013 model year. But like other Cadillac models, GM decided that they wanted to make a coupe version as well, to compete with vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and the BMW 4 Series. The new ATS debuted at the 2014 Detroit Auto show, and the 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe release date was immediately set for late summer 2014, so we’re looking forward to it hitting lots any time now.
Some of the exact specifications have already been released about the 2015 ATS coupe, and they are definitely worth getting excited over. The power of a sports car meets the luxury of a Cadillac in the 2015 ATS coupe, and we expect our minds to be blown. With two engine options to choose from so far, you can opt for either the standard 2.0L Turbo engine that runs on an impressive 272 horsepower or the available 3.6L engine that pumps out an astounding 321 horses. Pairing the engine choices with Brembo performance front brakes and an available 6 speed manual transmission will allow you to brake fast, but get up to speed even faster.
With an aerodynamic underbody, an elemental design, and an extremely lightweight architecture, the 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe will certainly turn heads, you just might not be there any more when they turn. A heads up display is at the forefront of features bringing technology into the sport-meets-luxury fold, as an available, reconfigurable, full-color HUD can project any important vehicle information right onto your windshield; like navigation prompts, vehicle speed, and even audio information.
We don’t have information on things like fuel economy, but we do know that the starting MSRP is only $37,995 making it one of the most affordable Cadillac vehicles in the lineup. We can’t wait for the arrival of the 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe, and we’d be happy to try to answer any questions you might have on the vehicle so feel free to give us a call.
