2015 Chevy Trax Release Date
While the Chevy Trax was originally introduced at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, with the final model being unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show, it was then only produced and sold in Canada, Mexico, Korea, and Europe. It’s success has now pushed the new model to be produced and marketed in the United States and other countries around the world. It is the first Chevrolet vehicle to be made in the subcompact crossover classification that has been growing in popularity. The 2015 Chevy Trax release date has already been announced as early 2015, and we can’t wait for the new model to hit our lot.
While we were one of the few countries to get the initial incarnation of the 2014 Chevy Trax, we’re still extremely excited to see the new model and what it brings to the table. It’s the perfect fit for those drivers looking for the space of an SUV but still want some of the advantages of a regular car, like maneuverability. The new vehicle is already confirmed to have available All Wheel Drive, the most storage areas in its class, and 10 standard airbags. So its safe and ready for a road trip.
There are fifteen available storage areas and eight different seating configurations, meaning that the 2015 Chevy Trax will have room for everything and everybody that you want to bring on the road. A two-tier glove box, cubbies, consoles, and cupholders give you room for all the small items you need, and a hidden storage area under the front seat and another beneath the cargo floor add even more flexibility to your cargo. Fold-flat front passenger seat and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat means you can even bring your biggest items with you.
And if fuel economy is important to you, which in this day and age it probably should be, then you can opt to turbocharge your engine with a 1.4L ECOTEC engine. Exact specifications haven’t been released about the power or efficiency, but it promises to make the best of both in this tiny SUV.
