2015 Toyota Prius Special Edition Specs and Features
The Toyota Prius was a game changer when it was first introduced in the year 2000, and it is hard to believe that the Prius has been cruising the streets for fourteen years already. It was one of the first environmentally conscious vehicles to go mainstream and gain a popular footing. And since that time, it has simply continued to innovate and impress over and over again. This year it will celebrate it’s fourteenth birthday with a brand new trim level, and here is just a taste of the 2015 Toyota Prius Special Edition specs and features.
For starters, the Special Edition will only be available in two completely exclusive colors; Absolutely Red and Blizzard Pearl. These two colors will be capped off by sitting atop 17” wheels featuring a dark metal finish unique to the Prius. As far as interior changes, the Prius adds black SofTex trim on the seats with dark gray stitching, blue front footwell illumination, as well as darkchrome accents on various small pieces around the cabin.
The Prius continues its dedication to high fuel economy, offering several different model levels geared towards exactly the fuel efficiency you need from your vehicle. The larger Prius v is built for families, the Prius c is more city-friendly than the other models, and the Prius Plug-in Hybrid is for the truly environmentally conscious looking to save money at the gas pump. The regular model Prius, which comes in trim levels labeled Two through Five plus the new Special Edition, comes with an astounding EPA-estimated 4.7 l/100km combined fuel efficiency.
