2015 Honda HR-V North American Debut
It was announced today that on November 19th down in Los Angeles, California, an exciting new subcompact crossover will be officially introduced. That’s right, the 2015 Honda HR-V North American debut will be at the LA Auto Show next month, and we personally cannot wait for the event! While we won’t be present, we will be paying close attention to all of the new details on the all-new model, and relaying it to you shortly thereafter.
Since it was first announced, the Honda HR-V has remained fairly radio-silent in terms of specifications and features about the all-new subcompact crossover. The only real piece of information we’ve received is that it will be built on the same platform as the Honda Fit. For this reason, we’re extremely excited to hear all of the new information that will be revealed when the HR-V makes its North American debut at the LA Auto Show.
The 2015 Honda HR-V is set to slate right into the entry crossover point on the Honda light truck lineup, just below the Honda CR-V. One of the other things we’ve been informed of is that it will offer “surprising levels of sophistication and versatility inside and out,” which when combined with the obviously sleek design represented in the images we’ve seen has us even more excited about the brand new vehicle. The subcompact segment is also new to Honda, as they’ve never made a vehicle of this classification before.
The other new piece of information we discovered today, is that the fuel tank layout has received an innovative new design that allows for a versatile, spacious cabin even though it is the smallest crossover in the lineup. Combined with the Honda Magic Seat, this vehicle will probably seem much bigger than it is, making the perfect utility vehicle for someone who prefers sedan-driving. We’ll be updating you on the specs and features of the HR-V shortly after the LA Auto Show when all of the information is released, so be sure to stay tuned next month for more!
