2015 Toyota Camry vs 2015 Nissan Altima
The Toyota Camry is one of the most popular vehicles in North America, but as a midsize sedan it has a lot of competition out there on the market. It might be one of our favorite midsize sedans available, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t considering another option that we don’t offer here at Drive Wheaton. For that reason, we’ve been comparing it to many of its biggest rivals over the past few months, like the Ford Fusion. This month we’re comparing it to another of its popular segment competitors, by pitting the 2015 Toyota Camry vs 2015 Nissan Altima.
Advantages of the 2015 Toyota Camry
Taking a look at the table above, you can see the reason why both vehicles are so popular. They’re nearly identical in most areas of specifications. For instance they have the same exact size trunk at 15.4 cubic feet, which is plenty of space for a midsize sedan to hold whatever you might need to bring along. And it might look like the Altima has an advantage in horsepower and fuel efficiency, but in actuality 2 horsepower and 0.2 litres per 100 kilometres is barely even a noticeable difference when it comes down to it.
But there is one area where the 2015 Toyota Camry truly has a leg up its competitor, and that’s in terms of cabin space. Cars will never have as much space for people to get comfortable in as an SUV or crossover, but the more space the easier it is to pack the car without irritating anyone. The Camry has 16.2 extra cubic feet of space for passengers to stretch out and get comfortable in. That’s a huge amount of space, offering a much better driving experience than the 2015 Nissan Altima.
If you think the 2015 Toyota Camry might be the right midsize sedan for you but aren’t quite sold yet, you can find tons of additional information around our website on the model.
