2016 Toyota Camry vs 2016 Subaru Legacy
Without a doubt, the Toyota Camry is among the two most popular vehicles on the brand’s lineup. The Camry was last overhauled for the 2012 model year, but received a facelift in 2014 that saw every exterior panel but the roof changed. The Camry has one of the most storied legacies on Toyota lineup, so we thought we’d take a look at it against another legacy, by comparing the 2016 Toyota Camry vs 2016 Subaru Legacy to see which was superior.
Advantages of the 2016 Toyota Camry
It wasn’t an easy battle though, as the table above reveals the two vehicles are very comparable to one another. The Subaru Legacy even has a fairly impressive advantage of the Camry, in the way of an extra 1.5 cu. ft. in passenger volume, allowing you and your passengers a bit of extra space to stretch out and get comfy. The Camry doesn’t fire back all that powerfully in terms of cargo capacity either. Though it does have a slight advantage, the Toyota midsize sedan only offers an extra 0.4 cu. ft. in its trunk.
The 2016 Toyota Camry does however have a boost in power, though it’s not immediately noticeable. With only 3 extra horsepower up front, we noticed the Camry weighs 228 lbs. less than the Subaru Legacy, thus giving the Camry an even bigger advantage in performance and power. The Legacy puts up a pretty good fight, but we think this advantage seals the deal for the Camry.
